figura-wallet-passata
figura wallet / passata

The Figura Wallet began as a pattern piece ~ the bean-shaped base of the Figura Tote, folded in half, so that when you open it, the bean shape returns. I drew the card slots inside to mimic female curves, the kind that appear in our organs as much as on the outside of our bodies. The dip in the lower pocket follows the curve of a fallopian tube. Roundness, folds, dips. All are revered.

Passata is the deep red of sugo cooking on the stove. It's named for the tomatoes, but the colour is what they become once they've cooked down ~ darker than the passata in the jar.

read the full Figura story

~ Australian bovine leather made in Queensland, Australia

~ Each hide is natural, so every batch is a little different, with the grain and texture of the animal it came from

~ Available in five colours: Black Rock and Passata, and new for Figura, Fig, Almond and Peppercorn

~ Bifold closure with self-locating hidden magnet

~ For your cash and cards

~ One note slot and four card slots, can hold up to 12 cards

~ Made in small batches, so some pieces are ready to ship and others are made to order

~ Made by hand in our Brunswick atelier

~ Comes packaged with love in an organic cotton dust bag made by the women at SisterWorks

~ Comes packaged in a simétrie box

Size: W10.5cm x H12.5cm x D1.5cm [approx.
