The leather I use comes from the shoulder section of the hide, which is actually smaller than what's typically used for belts. It's still excellent leather, just means working within tighter constraints to get the full size range I wanted.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe custom brass buckle is shaped like an eye ~ representing the careful attention that goes into every cut and stitch, and that moment of connection when someone notices those details that make this work distinctive.
