Figura

Figura is the Italian word for figure, and this collection is shaped by one in particular ~ a statue carved thousands of years ago and placed inside the Tarxien temple in Malta. Only her lower half remains. Her legs, and what looks like a pleated skirt over the top of them. At full size, she would have stood almost three metres tall. Her hips are very wide ~ they reminded me of my own.

I introduce to you four new silhouettes, each shaped by her and by the fuller figure ~ the Figura Tote, the Petit Figura Tote, the Figura Oculare Case and the Figura Wallet. They come in Black Rock and Passata, and in three new colours, Fig, Almond and Peppercorn.

Roundness, folds, dips. All are revered.
