A lovely achievement! Making my own card wallet to match my lovely bag is an absolute delight. I learnt and practiced the leather stitching techniques & this time I was more confident with my crafting. Simone guided us through the steps giving us her expertise along the way. I have paired it with my new "Samantha Of Melbourne" (BSM) dress. Thank you Simone...I will treasure both these wonderful pieces.

I am so glad I finally had the opportunity to discover how to work with leather. A huge thank you to Simone for being so patient and professional while guiding me through every step of the process. With her help, I was able to create my own beautiful baguette bag from scratch.

My first impressions of this card wallet are that it's as aesthetically stunning in real life as it is in the marketing. The single piece design is very practical and minimalist (would love to see what it looks like unfolded but that's probably a trade secret!). The kangaroo leather strikes a magical balance of soft, strong and thin which is kind of a tactile dream.

For better or worse, I'm pretty hands-on and unprecious with my daily objects and I can already see some character developing in the leather from the handling and exposure! I'm keen to see how well it holds its shape over time; beware having cards with embossed numbers against the inside of the outermost slots as the leather is thin enough to conform almost-intelligibly to the embossed characters (not an issue for current generation credit cards but something to be mindful of). Look forward to a 6 month review!

I met Simone on a trip to Oz at a craft market and could not stop thinking about the Bay Bag. Before I left Melbourne I went in person to the atelier and purchased the bag. My obsession has not stopped. The bags (and now belts, too) are so extraordinarily crafted you will wonder how you've ever carried another bag. They are functional, yet breathtaking works of art. Cannot recommend more!! I cannot wait to see the new bags that Simone dreams up.

A wonderful experience! To learn traditional leather craft and to make my own bag that looks professional, being guided by Simone all the way through the process was an experience I will treasure. Flew from Perth to attend a private day workshop with Simone who customised the learning to my needs. Simone is a knowledgeable teacher with a gorgeous design aesthetic. I had a clear outcome for the day and Simone had prepared a pattern and handouts. Each step was explained and demonstrated well and I came away feeling excited about my new skills. Well worth the cost for the skills, equipment and workshop space (and the cuddles from Gary the greyhound). I am looking forward to booking again.

Super sleek design, and really good quality! The leather is super soft to the touch and holds its shape surprisingly well. The design is really clever and allows for you to remove the outer cards one handed. The build quality is second to none! A really compact and dependable everyday item that brings me joy every time i use it :)

This was a fantastic workshop using beautiful leather off cuts. Simone is a fabulous artist who is an amazing craftswoman. There were so many options and brilliant techniques I learnt. These included glueing, sewing, adding a carabiner,hoops.

The pleasure of this bag is in the experience - meeting Sim, seeing the materials and machines involved in the process, talking through personalisation options, seeing the bag come to life through Simetrie’s Instagram stories and of course receiving it! I’m in love with the glossy leather, high quality hardware, burnished edgework and versatile, spacious design. I had a fantastic Saturday morning making a very cute bag charm. Simone was very helpful, explaining the process and demonstrating key techniques, lending a hand where needed. Being able to transform off cuts into a new object is also very meaningful. Overall, I had a great time and would recommend this workshop to anyone who is interested in leather craft!

i had such a wonderful 1 on 1 session with simone last week! having only worked minimally with leather prior it was incredibly helpful to have the expertise and professionalism of simone to guide and teach me so many little details that i can utilise in my own work.

The workshop was very detailed and catered to exactly what skills i was interested in developing, the mix of hands on work and observing was a perfect balance. I left with a wallet made start to finish...very satisfying!
