The Ravjul Bag Charm in Black Rock holds cultural memory in its curved form. The shape comes from handmaking Maltese ravjul ~ one of the few cultural connections available as a second-generation Australian. Each charm transforms leather offcuts into something meaningful, with recycled felt inside mimicking the softness of filling. This versatile form works beautifully for other comfort foods too ~ pierogi, gyoza, empanadas. Handmade in the Melbourne atelier.
